A person with a SIDA badge cannot escort another person who has been issued a SlDA badge but does not have the badge in their immediate possession.

Effective October 3, 2001, the fee for a lost SIDA badge will be increased to $100.

Know where your badge is at all times.

You must display your badge on your outermost garment and above the waist at all times when in the security area.

You must challenge anyone not displaying proper security identification in airport security identification in airport security areas.
CRIMINAL HISTORY DECLARATION: FAR 107.31(b)(2)
Prohibits airport operators from granting unescorted access rights to the SIDA if, within the past 10 years, you have been Convicted or found not guilty by reason of insanity in any jurisdiction of the following crimes.
- Forgery of certificates, false making of aircraft, and other aircraft registration violations
- Interference with air navigation
- Improper transportation of a hazardous material
- Aircraft piracy
- Interference with flight crew members or flight attendants
- Commission of certain crimes against aircraft in flight
- Carrying a weapon or explosive aboard an aircraft
- Conveying false information and threats
- Aircraft piracy outside the special aircraft jurisdiction outside of the United States
- Lighting violations involving transport controlled substances
- Unlawful entry into an aircraft or airport area that serves carriers or foreign carriers contrary to established security requirements
- Destruction of an aircraft or aircraft facility Murder
- Assault with intent to murder
- Espionage
- Sedition
- Kidnapping or hostage taking
- Treason
- Rape or aggravated sexual abuse
- Unlawful possession, use, sale, distribution, or manufacture of an explosive or weapon
- Extortion
- Armed or felony unarmed robbery
- Distribution of, or intent to distribute, a controlled substance

Felony involving a threat

Felony involving:
- willful destruction of property
- importation or manufacture of a controlled substance
- burglary
- theft
- dishonesty, fraud, or misrepresentation
- possession or distribution of stolen property
- aggravated assault
- bribery
- illegal possession of a controlled substance

Punishable by a maximum term of imprisonment of more than 1 year, or any Conspiracy of attempt to commit any of the aforementioned criminal acts. REMEMBER: If you are ever convicted of one of the above felonies, you must report the conviction and surrender your MSP badge at the airport badging office within 24 hours.
