Mesaba Negotiations update:  May 13, 2006

The Bankruptcy Court approved a further extension to the 1113 motion filed by Mesaba Airlines. The new deadline is May 18, 2006 at 3 pm CT. As a result of
this extension, the all employee phone conference sponsored by the Mesaba Labor Coalition and previously scheduled for Thursday evening has been cancelled.
Look for a new date and time for an all employee phone conference in the near future.

There have been no negotiations scheduled with management for either AMFA or AFA. The mediated negotiations with ALPA will resume on Tuesday, May 16
for another 3 day session. The bankruptcy court judge has scheduled a status conference for 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 18.
