ORDER AS TO MESABA AIRLINES, INC. 

On August 19, 2005, in a lawsuit entitled Mesaba Aviation, Inc., Plaintiff v. Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association, AMFA Local Unions 5, 33, and 38, and O.V. Delle-Femine, Nathan Winch, Neil White and James Schafer, Defendants,  the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, in granting Mesaba's request for injunction, issued the following order as to Mesaba: 

"4.  Plaintiff [Mesaba] shall take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the physical safety of Mesaba-AMFA mechanics during their arrival at and departure from their places of work.  Plaintiff shall bear the expense of these measures." 

Should any Mesaba-AMFA mechanic encounter a situation in which their physical safety is not protected as stated above, or in which there is harassing, abusive or threatening behavior from Mesaba management, Northwest management, or any security guards hired by the Carriers during the strike period, please report such incidents to your Local Airline Representative and AMFA legal counsel immediately.
