AMFA Local 33 Nomination Notice - December 2005 Election

The previous call for nominations posted September 20, 2005 has been canceled by order of the National Executive Council because of Local consolidation. All Previously submitted nominations have become void. Local 33 is hereby opening a new nomination period and will accept nominations for the following Local 33 Positions.

Communications Chairman

NWA Airline Rep. (1)

NWA Area Representative (1) for each station:

ANC, BIL, DEN, DLH, GEG, HNL, LAS, LAX, MSN, MSO, PDX, PHX, SAN, SEA, SFO and SNA

Mesaba Area Representative (1) for each station:

CWA, DSM, RHI

NWA Shop Committee Representative (1) (MSP Bldgs. B, C, D)

Auditor (1)

Chief Election Teller (2)

q Term of office for all positions will be Jan 2006 - Dec 2007 with the exception of the NWA Shop Cmte. Rep. position which will be January 2006 - December 2008.

q Duties of the Local Executive Council positions are described in the Local 33 Bylaws, Article III, Section 2.

q All non-probationary, active NWA and Mesaba members of Local 33 in good standing are eligible to nominate for, or be nominated to these positions. You may nominate yourself.

q Nominees must meet the eligibility requirements of the Local 33 bylaws, Article IV, Section 2. and the AMFA Constitution.

Nomination forms are available at the Local 33 office and the Local 33 web site. Click here for form. Nomination forms and nomination petitions if required for nomination eligibility will be accepted at the Local 33 Office delivered in person, by US Mail or by FAX at (). Forms must be received at the Local 33 office no later than 4:00 PM, Monday November 21, 2005.

Additional information regarding a phone and internet election will be provided in a separate notice that will be mailed to all eligible Local 33 members at a later date.
